My name is Mariana Spitzberg and I am excited to start my third year at Wims. I grew up in Argentina and came to the U.S. when I was 21. All my family still lives there and I am so lucky I get to visit them every other year! When I was in Argentina I was studying to become an ESOL teacher, but then I moved and my plans were put on hold.

 

I had the chance to go back to school and become an elementary school teacher through the Towson University at Shady Grove Program. Last May I completed my Masters in School Administration from Hood University. My husband, Dave, is an instrumental music teacher in the county and loves junk percussion, Mateo is 10 and is starting fifth grade and Tomas is 9 and he is starting fourth. I love puzzles, going on walks, and working out at the gym.
